This Privacy Policy is designed to help you understand how EduQuencher INC. and our affiliates ("EduQuencher", "we" or "our") collect, process, store, and share personal information about our Users. It also explains what controls you have on how EduQuencher collects and processes your information. The term "you" or "User" refers to students, tutors, or any person or entity who views, uses, accesses, browses, or submits any content or material to the Service (defined below).

Providing your personal information is voluntary, and your use of the Service after the effective date of this document constitutes your acceptance of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy, do not use the Service.

Scope of this Policy

This Privacy Policy applies only to personal information we collect via the website www.eduquencher.com ("Site"), online and mobile applications ("Apps"), email, telephone, electronic devices, and other interactive services (collectively "the Service").

The Information We Collect

If you choose to create an account, you must provide us with personal information so that we can provide the Service. This includes:

  • Registration information when you create a User account
  • Profile information such as city and state, educational level or background, and tutoring subjects
  • Uploaded content (e.g., photographs, essays, lesson materials)
  • Lesson recordings (if you have consented to recording)
  • Video answers (if you have consented to recording a video answer for educational resources)
  • Communications with us via phone, email, social media, or interactive features (e.g., chat, support)
Students and Parents

We may collect personal information related to tutoring sessions, homework questions, school information, teacher feedback (with parental consent), and content uploaded for transmission or public display.

Tutors

We may collect your Social Security Number (SSN) or Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN), date of birth, and address for tax or background check purposes. We also collect bank account information to facilitate payment and any content you upload for educational or promotional purposes.

Financial Information

If you pay for tutoring services via credit card, we collect your name, card number, expiration date, and billing address. All financial data is encrypted and stored in compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). We do not store credit card numbers. Tutors who receive payments must provide bank information.

If you are a tutor and pay for a background check, we collect your payment information solely for that purpose and do not store it.
